I have extensive technical skills and experience covering the full spectrum of robotic system development.
I have conducted 10+ field experiments per year, and visited various sites (including the Fukushima nuclear accident zone, offshore fish farms, and research vessels). Based on these experiences, I have carried out field-oriented research.
I have experience in developing high-reliability systems for field operations. I am capable of embedded system design using skills such as reverse engineering, machining, CAD, and finite element analysis.
I have conducted research on deep learning-based robotic perception on edge devices. I am skilled in software development, including ROS-based system development and simulation (e.g., Gazebo, IsaacSim). Additionally, I have experience in server management for robot data processing, as well as handling data using communication protocols (e.g., serial communication, TCP/IP), web-based UI design, and data visualization.
I have taught and mentored students across all levels, including hands-on lectures on mobile robotics and ROS (for undergraduate and graduate students), embedded systems using Python and Raspberry Pi (for graduate students), and C programming (for freshmen). I also provided STEM mentoring for K–12 students, contributing to education-focused outreach.
