Hello and welcome to the Elementary Gifted and Talented page!

I (Ms. Sugarman) directly instruct students in grades four and five at Falmouth Elementary School. In addition to offering enrichment opportunities to identified academically gifted learners, I serve as an educational consultant/teaching coach to all elementary staff.

Elementary students in the district participate in weekly pull-out sessions where they receive enrichment within their academic area of identification. In class activities include:

• Problem based learning (PBL) activities

• Theme based educational units

• Problem solving, creative and critical thinking lessons

• STEM (STEAM) lessons

• Educational games

• Passion Projects

• Guest speakers/presentations
