I believe that every student deserves to be treated with respect, in an engaging classroom that is a safe place where they can be their authentic selves, with a teacher who maintains a safe and positive learning environment that promotes student success.

I will demonstrate this by:

A. Building relationships with my students and being there for them whenever needed

B. Being fair and consistent while managing my classroom

C. Having high expectations which are clearly stated and discussed with students
