Hi everyone! My name is Lilah Rossell. I am so excited to be your child's first-grade teacher!
I am originally from Asheville, North Carolina. I moved to Wilmington about four years ago and have been enjoying living so close to the beach. I have a shih tzu named Coco, and a snail named Gary. I recieved a bachelor's degree in English from UNC-Chapel Hill and a master's degree in education from UNC-Wilmington. This will be my fourth year teaching at Alderman, and it's going to be a great year!
I greatly value communication and building relationships with my students and their families. My teaching style uses an asset-based approach to encourage all students to develop self-confidence and a love of learning. Our classroom learning environment will be safe and calm, and every student will have the chance to be creative and express themselves.
Soaring Eagles are Respectful, Responsible, Safe, Healthy and Kind!
