Camera Data: We use your device's camera solely to scan documents. Images are processed locally on your device.
Storage: We require access to your device's storage to save scanned documents, signatures, and generated PDF files.
Cloud Account Information: If you choose to sync with Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive, we use your account's authentication tokens to perform file uploads and downloads. We do not store your passwords.
Biometric Data: If enabled, we use Android’s Biometric API for app security. We do not have access to, nor do we store, your actual fingerprint or facial data; this is handled entirely by the Android system.
2. How We Use Your Information
To provide document scanning and PDF generation features.
To facilitate cloud backup and synchronization at your request.
To secure your documents using device-level encryption.
3. Data Security
Local Encryption: All document metadata is stored in an encrypted database (SQLCipher) with keys managed by the Android KeyStore.
No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information or scanned documents to third parties. Your data stays on your device or your chosen cloud provider.
4. Third-Party Services
Our app integrates with the following third-party services:
Google Play Services / Google Drive API: For authentication and cloud storage.
Microsoft Graph / MSAL: For OneDrive integration.
ML Kit: For on-device text recognition and document detection.
These services have their own privacy policies which you should review.
5. Permissions
The app requests the following permissions:
Camera: To scan documents.
Storage (Read/Write): To save and manage files.
Internet: To sync with cloud providers.
Biometric/Fingerprint: To secure the app.
