MSR Grape Farm

MSR Grape Farm is a well-known agritourism destination located in the scenic Cumbum Valley on the Kollam–Theni Highway (NH183), on the way to Kumily after Cumbum in Theni District, Tamil Nadu. For more than 20 years, MSR Grape Farm has welcomed families, friends, and travelers to experience the joy of visiting a working vineyard and purchasing fresh grapes directly from the farm. What began as a simple concept of farm visits has grown into a trusted and memorable stop for thousands of visitors every month. 

MSR Grape Farm features grapevines grown over an extensive overhead trellis, offering shaded walkways and a unique visual experience. Visitors can enjoy freshly harvested grapes straight from the plant, along with a variety of grape-based products, including natural grape juice, dried grapes, and beverages. The garden also features a beautiful park area with green lawns and a diverse collection of agricultural plants, providing children and students with an engaging way to learn about farming.

To enhance the visitor experience, MSR Grape Farm supports small business entities by offering a range of shops, including textiles, food and beverage outlets, gift and accessories stores, plant nurseries, and spice shops. With free entry to the grape farm, complimentary toilet facilities, and small play areas, MSR Grape Farm strongly encourages visitors to explore the vineyard, enjoy the surroundings, and share their experiences with others.

Additional attractions include a colorful water fountain with lights, a miniature model of the Mullaperiyar penstock pipes that illustrates how John Pennycuick transformed the region, an entertaining bird show, and a thrilling cycle ride above the overhead trellis.
