About me

Hi, I’m Ms Payne and I’m looking forward to teaching you this year.

Before becoming a teacher, I had a career in marketing, working with well-known brands and learning how ideas grow from a simple concept into something people know, love, and buy. That experience taught me about creativity, problem-solving, and the importance of clear communication — skills I bring into the classroom every day.

I love learning new skills myself, whether it’s experimenting with a new recipe or figuring out a tricky knitting pattern. I especially enjoy knitting socks (yes, it’s as fun as it sounds!) and I have an entrepreneurial mind, always curious about how to turn ideas into action.

In our lessons, I aim to connect what we’re learning to the real world so you can see how it applies beyond school. I want you to develop not just knowledge, but also creativity, resilience, and the ability to think critically.
