Welcome to Mrs. Lubarsky's speech room. I am so excited to be working with your children this year. I have many new and engaging activities planned to help your child continue to develop their speech and/or language skills. During the first week of speech therapy your child will receive a speech folder. The speech folder is used to hold and transport homework assignments to and from school. Homework will be sent home once a week targeting a skill that is being addressed in class. All of your child’s homework will require a homework helper to make sure it is done correctly. In addition, all homework assignments must be signed by an adult so your child receives credit for a job well done and an incentive sticker. Speech therapy is a collaborative effort between the therapist and parent. Thank you in advance for your continued work to assist in carry-over at home.
