IP 6: Sustainability and the True "Cost" of ClassDojo
This intellectual production was focused on digging deeper into the true cost of an educational tool that I use daily in the classroom, which is ClassDojo. It was much more involved than I have probably ever been in a project because once you begin to unveil the layers of "costs" to our planet, our people, and our consumption, it is limitless.

This case study had the goal of answering the question "How and why was the overhead projector replaced by interactive whiteboards and how has this shift impacted educational and technological pedagogy?" and to explore the reasons that Interactive White Boards (IWBs) displaced overhead projectors as well as who is responsible for this shift in technology. There is also a focus on the lenses we can look at this question through and how this change impacted educational pedagogy.
IP 5: Global Health
The purpose of this IP is to analyze the before, during, and after effects of the covid-19 pandemic regarding global health. This is an ever-evolving topic that we must continue to assess and research as more information becomes available. However, it is clear that technology has become a crucial aspect of our world and it is worth the investment for our collective futures.
