About Me

I was born in Atlanta, Georgia and have remained here my entire life. My wife has been a teacher for over 30 years. My mother is a retired school teacher, and my father was a Judge in DeKalb County. I attended Emory University where I was able to major in my favorite subject, mathematics. However, I followed in my father’s foot steps and went on to receive my law degree. After practicing law for approximately ten years, I moved to an executive position as C.O.O./corporate counsel for a publishing company.

I have played soccer my whole life. I hold a national U.S.S.F. coaching license, and I have coached at every level. Through educating and coaching young individuals is where I have always found the most satisfaction and fulfillment. I started 4 years on the Lakeside Boys Soccer team winning two State Championships as a player. I spent a total of 12 years on the coaching staff being a part of two more State Championships. I return for the 2020 season as the new Head Varsity Coach.

During my previous 7 years at Arabia Mountain H.S. my analytic geometry students consistently achieved a pass rate above 80%.

I am excited to return to my roots at Lakeside H.S. and bring all of my experience to make a difference.

I am very excited about my 3rd career as an educator.
