So glad to return to SJR as a World Language teacher! I was a student at St. Joseph School (Valley Road) building many years ago. My son graduated from SJR, Archbishop Wood, Temple University - and now lives with his wife and son (My 1st grandson!) in Colorado.
In my earlier years at SJR (2004-2018), I taught Honors Math, 7th grade Math & Religion, and 8th grade Science & Religion. I transferred to MMR in 2018 and taught 7th grade Science and Social Studies, before moving into managing the MMR STREAM Program & Innovation Lab. I taught the STREAM classes until June 2023 and retired. Then, I got bored....so I looked for part-time opportunities with the Archdiocese. I am thrilled to be back at SJR teaching World Language! Our unique approach to World Languages will focus on at least three different languages, one per trimester. Additionally, we include time to explore cultural connections!
In my spare time, I enjoy teaching Indoor Cycling at the Willow Grove YMCA, reading historical non-fiction, and traveling to Colorado, Puerto Rico, Jersey Shore, and Florida.
