Learn About Lindsey

Hello! Welcome to my about me page! I am currently a senior at The University of Tennessee with intentions to graduate with a bachelor's degree in Child and Family Studies. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in May of 2023, I have chose to continue my education and pursue a masters degree at The University of Tennessee Knoxville specializing in Pre-K-3rd grade education. By May of 2024 I will then have a bachelors and masters degree, leading me to have my own classroom August of 2024.

Over the past years, I have gotten experience being in the classroom and interacting with kids. Throughout college, I have gotten experience in diverse schools through volunteering in schools and doing after school childcare. I have gotten in class experience in a kindergarten classroom locally for a full year and watched children learn and grow over the course of a year. I have always enjoyed interacting with kids and am excited to have my own classroom in the coming years!

When I have a free moment outside of school I enjoy doing a variety of things. One of my favorite things to do is go to the gym and do spin classes at Cyclebar. Along with staying active, I love to take time and travel all over the United States, my most recent trip being Boulder, Colorado. After visiting Boulder I decided I would love to teach there someday! Locally, I love going to visit different coffee shops unique to the area. The coffee shop I often find myself at doing school and meeting friends is K Brew. All in all, I love being active, exploring outdoors, and being social during my free time!
