About Speech
Dear Parents,
Welcome to Speech with Ms. Lichaa! I am one of the speech-language pathologists working with students at Horner Middle School. I'm excited to work with your student! Here is a little information about me.
I'm a Bay Area native and went to UCLA where I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Sociology. I then went to CSU Northridge for my master's degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences. I've been a speech-language pathologist since 2007.
My personal interests are traveling and environmental causes. I try to teach students about the world around them and how to take care of their environment. Respect for others is a big part of my mentality and expectation for all students. I strive to be a good example by speaking with care and respect to others as well.
Please note that there is another speech therapist at our site working with students who receive speech-language services. Her name is Deepa Yegnaswamy (her email is coming soon!).
