Hello! I'm Meghan  Kane and I graduated from Adelphi with a bachelor's in Mathematics. I am in the 5-year STEP program and am getting certified in 7-12 mathematics and special education. One fun fact about me is that I love to keep small animal pets and have had a bunny, a guinea pig, and two mice. 

 My teaching philosophy is that the school should be a comfortable place for all learners. If students feel unsafe, othered, or unwelcomed in the school they are more likely to experience poor educational outcomes and even drop out. No matter a student's appearance, sexuality, or needs the education they get should benefit them and they should feel safe and happy in the school environment.
