Welcome to Religion 6

Week of October 26:

Open Book Test on Genesis and Creation on Monday.

Days of Creation project assigned on Monday and due on Friday.

We will begin working on Ch 3, "The First People Turn from God."

Set yourself up for success!

• Arrive to class on time

• Bring the following to class:

🗹   Homework Planner

🗹    “Charged” Chromebook

🗹   Religion textbook

🗹   Composition book

🗹   2-pocket folder

🗹   Pencil case with art supplies

• Complete & submit assignments on time

Note: After Labor Day, “Unprepared for Class” slips will be issued.

Middle School Academic Policy for Late Work Submission

All middle school teachers have a standardized late work policy designed to promote responsibility and time management skills that are essential for academic success.

Homework & Practice Assignments

Students who fail to submit homework or practice assignments will receive a zero with no opportunity for makeup credit. This policy encourages consistent daily engagement with course material.

Classwork & Assignments

Late submissions will be accepted within one calendar week of the original due date for a maximum of 50% credit. Work submitted after this date will receive a grade of zero.  Students must notify teachers via email when submitting late work—Google Classroom messages do not fulfill this requirement.

Assessments & Evaluations

Missed quizzes and tests due to absence must be completed upon return or within one week for extended absences. It is each student’s responsibility to schedule makeup assessments.
