Hello!

I grew up in Portland (North Portland!) and attended schools in PPS for my elementary - high school experience. I can remember a handful of teachers that truly made a difference in my life, not just because I learned something important from them, but because they cared so much about me. I think of them all of the time and hope to be that kind of teacher for my students.

When I am not in the classroom I enjoy spending time with my dog Enzo. I love sitting down with a good book. I also enjoy road trips and camping with my family. I love swimming, surfing, and paddle boarding with the (unofficial) Astor paddle club.
