Happy New Year middle school parents! This school year really is just flying by!

In sixth grade, we are continuing our unit on ancient Mesopotamia. We have just delved into ancient Persia, one of the largest empires of the ancient world. Students will be excavating ruins from ancient Persia to learn about the massive empire. 

In seventh grade, we are bringing our American Revolution Unit to a close. Students partook in a simulation and put themselves in the shoes of continental army soldiers. We will soon begin our exciting Constitution unit!

In eighth grade, we are in the middle of our Migration and Industry Unit. Students have just finished learning about the impact of Westward Expansion on Native American tribes. We are beginning our lesson on the Industrial Revolution by allowing the students to put themselves in the shoes of factory workers of the time period.
