KIBO XS Device
The library has started to provide special service for our blind students with the help of KIBO XS Device. Kibo XS is a multi-lingual scanning & reading device that can seamlessly connect with any PC/Computer/Laptop as well any Android smartphone to read any printed or handwritten documents in audio across 11 Indian languages.
Email Notification Service
The Library has started a new practice to notify the new arrivals of books and other academic activities conducted by library and college through bulk email notification with the help of PHPLIST Email Server installed in library. We can send bulk email to students about various activities and notices. Library has posted notice about State Level Online Elocution Competition organised by college on 1st August 2020 to more than 2200 email users.
Telegram Job Alert Service
The Library has started a Telegram Channel on the name of M.S.G. Arts, Science & Commerce College to aware our students about latest updates on job announcements and recruitment notifications. More than 750 students and teachers are joined to this channel. It also helps to notify them about admission, results and various college activities carried out in college. Any student can join this channel by clicking the below link on Telegram App.
Separate Book-Bank Section
The Library has started a separate Book-Bank Section under the guidance of Hon. Apoorva Bhau Hiray (Coordinator,MGV) for economically and socially backward class under graduate and junior college students. Every year thousands of students are getting benefit of this visionary idea of Management. Under this scheme students can issue a set of 4 books for the academic year by submitting prescribed form, including two books for weekly circulation on their Library Issue Card. The circulation of last three years is mentioned in below chart.
