The first thing to try is closing down MSFS and restarting it. The downloading should start again once MSFS is restarted. If there are problems with a particular file downloading repeatedly (on a loop) then exit MSFS and browse to the download location where the file is downloading to using windows explorer. Delete the offending file (if it is listed) or the latest downloaded file in that folder and then restart MSFS. The patch should continue as normal. (Note only delete files do not delete folders!)

This is getting stupid now EVERY single update something goes stupidly wrong and Asobo go and detroy the game which for me was going along pretty happily now i cant even download the update to even see what they have messed up although from what ive seen people saying is a lot. I am stuck in the same loop over and over and over charles de gall 0.148 never gets higher than 30% and its now just stupid its only a 5 gb update for gods sake.

Msfs Download Loop

Download File 🔥 https://shoxet.com/2y7Y5G 🔥

This is the important phrase of message #2 ( or the latest downloaded file in that folder). Find the folder and then delete the last file (last by date/time). It worked for me. A 2 hour loop stopped looping when I removed the last file by date (this was the file that downloaded just before the looping file). When you delete the file remember Recycle Bin will save it for you , so you have nothing to lose by trying. It worked for me.

(be sure recycle bin properties is set to keep all deleted files).

Well 28 Days Later April 22nd update and it is the same topic.

Hotfix 1.15.8.0 only 112 Mb is looping at stage 3/4.

I closed and restarted and now it is a 34.89 GB hotfix which is hardly moving .

This is getting more and more a waste of time when the updates cause problems instead of fixing them

ok a start. once it goes into a downloop for a specific file then (1) pause the installation/download and note the file name, (2) access the folder and (3) delete that file and/or the previous one, too. Either continue with the installation or close launcher and restart it. This process may be required multiple times, eventually it should succeed. other topics like disabling ipv6 of your network adapter if enabled or manually throttling the download speed may (or may not) help.... good luck!

Setting up world map filters and subtle taxi ribbon in the official folder only applies to me because the update overwrote some customizing I had done to the sim. In my case, I only got the looping the first time I tried. The 2nd time the sim required a much larger update but it did complete this 2nd time and I was able to run the sim. Sorry I cannot help you with why it keeps looping for you.

I suspect you are having the same problem as I described.

Would I be right in assuming that your update keeps reverting to re-downloading fs-base-0.1.206.patch.001? If this is so could you try once more and watch what exact file is actually the last file to download before it loops? Also while it tries to download can you also confirm that the download jumps from fs-base-0.1.217.patch to fs-base-0.1.219.patch.001 ?

(assuming you get that far.)

I am stuck in a download loop. I saw one other post about this, but the previous post required a VPN and a complete re-download. Has anyone else come up with a solution? Please see the attached video:

How do I stop M.S.F.S. in an endless loop looking for updates?

The program suddenly decided to stop loading and instead searched for updates. It has previously been working fine for six months plus.

I've deleted my scenery add-on and checked the update to Win 10.

This morning following the FAA Charts Announcement my In-Game Panel just displays a looping animation showing the new FAA Sectionals Feature and never loads into charts. You can click anything to move on or get past it. I have attached a video. I have uninstalled the in-game panel and re-installed via the Navigraph HUB and get the same behavior. I also have tried it using both Flow toolbar and the default toolbar as seen in the video I have attached.

My update was looping on one of the fs-base-cgl patch files (0.1.74), this at 98% through the update. Pause, exit and restart resulted in the entire fs-base-cgl folder structure in the sim being deleted, requiring a new 60GB download.

Later on the Installation Manager started to download the latest 1.22.2.0 content reporting a 1.88Gibs worth of data. But exactly when 47/51 fs-base-0.1.214.fspatch tried to finalize itself, the installation process returned back to the beginning of downloading the 47th out of 51 items and the procedure started all over again entering a continuous and endless loop.

The SITL (software in the loop) simulator allows you to run Plane,Copter or Rover without any hardware. It is a build of the autopilotcode using an ordinary C++ compiler, giving you a native executable thatallows you to test the behaviour of the code without hardware.

I was wondering if mixing different sizes of tubing has any noticeable effect on performance. i ask this because i am putting a custom loop together and have a radiator with 1/2 inch barbs whereas the rest of the kit has 3/8 inch fittings, the kit itself has a radiator with 3/8 fittings on it, i would like to know if i am able to use both rads.

This problem occurs usually when a message retrieval loop is executed as the result of actions taken for scrolling upon receiving one of the scroll bar notification messages.

When scrolling, an internal message retrieval loop is started in Windows. The task of this message loop is to keep track of scrolling and to send the appropriate scroll bar notification messages, WM_HSCROLL and WM_VSCROLL. Scrolling is terminated once WM_LBUTTONUP is received. If another message loop is started during scrolling, the WM_LBUTTONUP is retrieved by that message loop, and because an application does not have access to the scroll bar's internal message retrieval loop, WM_LBUTTONUP cannot be dispatched correctly. Therefore, the WM_LBUTTONUP is never received by the internal message retriever, and scrolling is never ended.

The application that is scrolling does not have to retrieve messages explicitly to cause this problem. Calling any of the following functions or processing any message that has a message retrieval loop, while scrolling, can cause the WM_LBUTTONUP to be lost. The functions listed below fall into this category:

While Scrolling, the WM_LBUTTONUP message should not be retrieved from the queue by any message retrieval loop other than the scroll bar's internal one.

An application may come across this problem as follows:

An application implements a message retrieval loop to implement communication with another application or DLL. For example, in order to scroll, the application needs to receive data from elsewhere.

Step 2 causes a Windows internal message loop to be started. This message loop looks for scroll-bar-related messages. The purpose of this message loop is to generate appropriate WM_HSCROLL or WM_VSCROLL messages. The message loop and scrolling terminates once WM_LBUTTONUP is received.

As result of step 5 WM_LBUTTONUP message is dispatched elsewhere and the internal message retrieval loop, mentioned in step 3 never receives it. The message loop in step 3 is looking for the WM_LBUTTONUP to stop scrolling. Because it is not received, the scroll bar continues scrolling.

I've been having this weird loop when I open my console to see my logs I get a never ending loop of FUEL_SELECTOR_SET & FUEL_SELECTOR_2_SET and it also spams LIGHT_POTENTIOMETER_SET when I turn on AXIS log. I've disconnected everything trying to see if it was a hardware issue, reinstalled FSUIPC 7 at least 4 or 5 times, and it still comes up with this continuous loop.

I am modelling a 'shed' which has a sloping flat roof.I want to add 'timber panels' around the top of the walls but want the bottom edge of those panels to be horizontal.I tried loop cuts and moved the cut to near the top of the walls however as I move the cut towards the top the loop cut 'follows' the top of the wall instead of remaining horizontal. Please advise how I can 'model' this. Here is the image in blender - note the roof is sloping and so the look cut at the top is also 'sloping' which I don't want.

If you want to add an horizontal edge loop you can either cut with the Knife tool (K to activate, A to cut orthogonally, C to cut through) or loop cut with CtrlR then slide with GG and press E to align with the edge, F to switch from an edge to another.

This is the "mach loop" used by many European airforces for low level terrain flying.

You'll take off from EGOD, do one circuit of the loop, and land back at EGOD

The challange is to see how fast you do the loop, and how many resident complaints you can generate from your low level flying.

Just load the flight plan and follow the waypoints

I have also linked to a video that follows the flightplan.

These two flight plans recreate the Mach Loop with waypoints from EGOV (RAF Valley) to either the South or the North entrance. My recommendation is the latter since this way you can fly the whole loop. Optimal speed IMHO is between 300 and 350kt.

The originality of this work is to propose a novel SiL (Software-in-the-Loop) platform using Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) to assist control design regarding the stabilization problem found in  AscTec Pelican platform. Aerial Robots Team (USP/EESC/LabRoM/ART) has developed a custom C++/C# software named FVMS (Flight Variables Management System) that interfaces the communication between the virtual Pelican and the control algorithms allowing the control designer to perform fast full closed loop real time algorithms. Emulation of embedded sensors as well as the possibility to integrate OpenCV Optical Flow algorithms to a virtual downward camera makes the SiL even more reliable. More than a strictly numeric analysis, the proposed SiL platform offers an unique experience, simultaneously offering both dynamic and graphical responses. Performance of SiL algorithms is presented and discussed. 006ab0faaa
