Muthukrishnan Senthil Kumar received the M.Sc. degree in applied mathematics from Madurai Kamaraj University, Tamil Nadu, India, in 1998 and the Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics from Anna University, Tamil Nadu, in 2009. From 2010 to 2011, he was with Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology(GIST), Gwangju, South Korea, where he pursued his Postdoctoral work. He is currently a Professor with the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computational Sciences, PSG College of Technology, Tamil Nadu. He has been visiting GIST, South Korea as Visiting Professor from June 2014, June 2015, and May 2016. His main research interests include modern queuing theory, Stochastic modeling,  analysis of complex networks with applications in epidemic spreading and communications networks, Optimum Control of dynamical systems, and Federated Learning.
