Ms Emig spent Elementary School in Palm Springs and then moved to Big Bear for Middle and High School. She is a proud 1993 graduate of BBHS! Ms Emig left BB to attend University of the Pacific in Stockton. After college, Ms Emig moved to the East Coast, spending 2 years in Delaware and then 6 years in the Washington DC area while earning her Masters degree. Having had enough humidity and congestion, Ms Emig moved to Fort Worth TX which is where she became a teacher. After 25 years away, Ms Emig finally moved home to Big Bear in 2018. She is very excited to be back at BBHS!! When she isn't at school, you can find her watching her beloved Houston Astros play baseball or out on the trails, running or hiking, often accompanied by her dog Slugger.
