Jinsu Kim, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Petrochemical Materials Engineering at Chonnam National University (CNU), specializing in model-based S3 (Sustainable-Smart-Scalable) engineering. With a background in Chemical Engineering, Jinsu leads research efforts focused on decarbonization, automation, and commercialization.
Before joining CNU, Dr. Kim participated in various research projects, collaborating with industries in both South Korea and the United States, with affiliations at institutions such as Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH, South Korea), POSTECH Graduate Institute of Ferrous Technology (South Korea), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (US), and Georgia Institute of Technology (US).
