Modern World History

This course will explore selected topics in world history from the 19th Century to the present. Students will learn about the influential people, events and ideas that have shaped our world. Major units of study will include World Geography, Imperialism, World War I, the Rise of Dictators, World War II, and the Cold War. Additional skills taught include those involving reading, writing, researching and presenting.
