Copyright and Fair Use

Copyright is the right that all authors, artist, composers, or any other creator possesses, in which they control the use of their work by others. This means if a work is copyrighted may not be duplicated, spread on a large scale, or appropriated without the creator's permission. Copyright only protects the form which ideas and information are expressed. Fair use promotes the freedom of expression by allotting the unlicensed use of copyright-protected works in certain scenarios.
