The locations with the highest likelihood of supporting SAV in each of the three groups (A=seagrasses, B=brackish submerged, C=freshwater submerged, floating-leaved SAV and green algae) are mapped on the original 106 sample sites. These maps show the Habitat Suitability Index (HSI) differs among the three groups, and that it is mainly defined by the ocean-river salinity gradient.
