Michael Schneier

Hello!

My name is Michael Schneier, and I am an adjunct professor in the math department at the University of Pittsburgh.

I hold a Ph.D. in Scientific Computing from Florida State University, which I completed in 2018 (advised by Professor Max Gunzburger).

My research interests are in computational mathematics, uncertainty quantification, machine learning, reduced order modeling, and computational fluid dynamics. I am particularly interested in how data can be used to improve well established algorithms in computational fluid dynamics.
