Hello,

My name is Ms. Wendy Chen and I will be teaching 6th and 8th grade math this year. I am originally from Fujian, China. My daughter was born this past May and I spent the summer quarantining with her.

I am looking forward to this new school year in supporting and working with you! As we all know it is an atypical school year and it is vital we keep our mask on, social distance, and follow all the safety protocols that are in place.

I know math may not be everyone's favorite subject but please know that if you try, persevere, ask questions, learn from mistakes, and build a habit of maintaining these 5 things you will start to get it. Math is not as scary as it seems.

我知道数学可能不是每个人都喜欢的课题但是我相信如果您愿意试，坚持，提出问题，修改错误，以及养成维护这5样东西的习惯，您将开始理解它，并且发现数学并不是那么可怕。
