• God’s call to each of us to serve him in a special way is called our vocation.

• Laypeople are baptized members of the Church who share in the mission to bring the good news of Christ to the World.

• We live the vocations that God gives us as a member of the Church.

• In the sacrament of Holy Orders, a man is ordained to the priesthood by a bishop.

• When people join a religious community, they take vows.

• God calls everyone to be holy.

• God calls some men to be priests.

• Some ways laypeople are called by God include married life, single life or the religious life of a brother or sister.

• Write or draw a picture showing something God might call you to do.
