Hello Lion Family,

My name is Shayla Brown.

I am the Third-Fifth ELA Curriculum Instructional Coach. I will be working with the 3-5 teachers and students to ensure growth and learning are always taking place.

Reading and writing were my two favorite subjects while I was growing up. I will this love into my classroom and try to introduce students to new worlds through literature and self expression through writing. I work to foster an environment in which students feel safe and are able to build confidence in their abilities. We work together to support each other as we all learn and grow. Families are a big part of this process, and your child will benefit from your involvement in their education.
