Hello! Thank you for visiting my website! I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Communicative Disorders from the University of Alabama in 1991. I received a full scholarship to Vanderbilt University's School of Medicine, and graduated with a Master's of Science in Speech Language Pathology in 1993. I worked as a medical speech therapist for many years but decided that working in the public school setting would best meet my family's needs when my children were small. I worked in Cullman City Schools until 2022, when I decided to work in a school closer to home, and I then joined the Hartselle City Schools team. I have also worked at Achievement Pediatric Therapies, a private clinic in Hartselle, since 2020.

I have four children, which keeps us on the go most of the time. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, crocheting, knitting, walking my dogs, and playing board games with family and friends.
