How do I submit my work?
Awesome question! Generally, you will submit your work on the same platform from which it was assigned. For example, if I assigned you a task on Schoology, that is where you will turn it in. If I gave you an assignment with a tangible product to turn in (for instance, a handwritten handout), you will turn that in to your class folder in our room.
Where do I find our instructional framework?
Click HERE for the Georgia Department of Education ELA Standards Based Instructional Framework. Our 10th Grade curriculum comes from My Perspectives, which is accessible via My Backpack and for which I will give you a paper (real paper!) workbook. In addition, both AP Seminar and 10th Grade Lit will engage with a variety of outside works. Our syllabus lists our units and standards.
If I am absent, how can I find out what I missed and get caught up?
I love how proactive you are being! In the event you are absent, then YES, YOU MISSED SOMETHING!!! For the most part, all class materials (including presentations, assignments, etc.) will be posted on our Schoology page. If you can't find them, please ask. It is the student's responsibility to make sure work is made up; I will help you find it or with any questions, but I will not chase you down to give you assignments you missed.
