Maru Sarazola

In May 2021 I received my PhD from Cornell University; my advisor was Inna Zakharevich. Before coming to Cornell, I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Universidad de la Republica, Uruguay.

In July 2021, I joined Johns Hopkins University as a J.J. Sylvester Assistant Professor (non tenure track).

Some things I'm currently interested in are homotopy theory, algebraic K-theory, category theory and applied category theory. Here you can find a short video where I summarize my research interests and the projects I'd completed as of October 2020 .

Here is my cv.
