Hello everyone and welcome to Ms. Amabile's Education Corner! My name is Claire Amabile and I am currently an uprising senior at Bridgewater State University (class of 2023), majoring in Elementary Education and Psychology. Working with children has been a life-long passion of mine, and my love for working in the field of education has grown even stronger throughout the course of my academic career. Here at BSU, I am a member of the Student Education Association of Massachusetts better knowns as SEAM, as well as a sister of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority. Both these organizations have allowed me to connect with other aspiring educators as well as alumni students who are currently working in the field. As an elementary school teacher, I hope to work in a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th-grade classroom where I intend to promote a life-long love of learning for my students while providing them with the essential tools needed to carry them through the course of their academic careers. I believe every child has the potential to succeed in their own unique way, and as an aspiring educator, I aim to teach them to find their passions through learning and allow it to guide them toward their future achievements.
