In my capacity as a Chinese language teacher, I've effectively delivered detailed Chinese lessons to K2 and K3 students, adhering to the British curriculum. I've offered specialized teaching in IGCSE Chinese for both Second Language and Foreign Language learners at the K4 level. Furthermore, I've taught advanced Chinese Language B for IB Diploma candidates. Beyond conventional teaching, I've led an after-school initiative that features a Chinese culture club, culinary sessions, and Ping Pong, all designed to deepen students' cultural understanding and appreciation. In my role, I was instrumental in facilitating effective learning environments by assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and setting up the classroom to optimize educational experiences. Under the guidance of the class teacher, I managed various classroom activities, fostering both individual and group learning opportunities. Recognizing the diverse needs of students, I provided specialized assistance to those requiring additional support, ensuring an inclusive learning atmosphere. Additionally, I took on the responsibility of teaching daily 45-minute Mandarin sessions to children aged 2 to 5 years old. In doing so, I employed engaging and appropriate learning methods tailored to this young age group, enhancing their linguistic and cognitive development.
