I am an educator in the WRDSB and currently seconded to the Provincial Demonstration Schools Branch with the Ministry of Education as a Resource Services Consultant. I have a Specialist in Technological Education and Special Education. Throughout my career, it has been a goal to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where students feel supported, recognized and valued. I am also very passionate about the use of assistive and educational technology in the classroom.

In my current role, I support students with severe learning disabilities and their families in navigating their educational experience and acquiring intense language and academic intervention. I am trained in Empower (an evidence based reading intervention program developed by SickKids in Toronto) and offer consultative services in understanding the profile of a student with LD/ ADHD. This includes lesson planning, resource building and the effective use of assistive and educational technology for educators throughout Ontario.
