About Me

My name is Brianna Schmidt and I am excited about learning with my Creekside students!  I was born and raised right here in Spearfish.  I even went to West Elementary K-3!  After graduating from Spearfish High School, I moved to Phoenix, AZ where I lived for about 8 years.  I have also lived in Fort Collins, CO.  I love to go back and visit both places. 

I graduated from Black Hills State University with a double major in Elementary Education and Special Education. I am currently working on my Masters degree in curriculum instruction.

I am also a mom of two boys, Evan (10th grade) and Landon (8th grade).  In our free time we love to go camping, hiking, ride bikes, fishing, work in the garden, go to the water park and just play outside.  We also really love to play soccer and golf.  I played soccer growing up (and still play for fun), so it is exciting for me to see my boys enjoy it as well.  One of my other favorite things to do is to watch sports, especially the Huskers, Phoenix Suns, and Arizona Cardinals.
