Hi, my name is Isabella Romero and I am so thrilled to be your child's 2nd grade teacher!

 I am originally from Austin, Texas! I grew up going to school in RRISD where I attended Great Oaks Elementary, Cedar Valley Middle School, and McNeil High School. I proceeded to graduate from Texas State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. I have an Early Childhood-6th ESL Generalist certification. This will be my fourth year teaching at Patsy Sommer and my third year teaching 2nd grade!

 Throughout my life, I have had many experiences working with elementary-aged children. I first realized I wanted to become a teacher when I began volunteering in my church's childcare classrooms at age 12. Ever since then my love and passion for helping children succeed has motivated me to reach this exciting point in my life. 

In my free time, I love to work out, spend time with friends, go shopping, and eat creamy jalapeno at Chuy's.

I look forward to working side by side with my students and their parents. I am honored in getting the opportunity to learn from your students as they learn from me.
