I don't understand what you mean. I can open multiple files and view them simultaneously using split screen via, View > Window group > Arrange all. It's not necessarily easy to work on the files especially with a small screen but careful use of filtering can make it easier. Another option is to temporarily create a master file with inserted projects.

As John has already mentioned, MS Project is a single instance application. You can not run multiple instances of MS Project but it can of course open multiple different mpp files, and multiple windows of the same mpp file. I hope they continue to invest in developing the desktop application further.

Sorry, this is a miserable excuse!!! MS Project developers are completely ignoring the grave importance of users opening one MS project program file PER SCREEN!!! So, like Excel, Word, PP, or Outlook, I would be able to open one MS Project file for one monitor, and another different MS Project file for my second monitor! Can you and John NOT SEE what he is trying so ardently to say to you????? This IS A GRAVE OVERSITE (I think on purpose) of MSP developers. For those of us who have worked MSP for 15 years, this is a bad problem. This is why so many companies are nixing MSP and going P6 and Open Plan!! Deltek has covered the gaps where Microsoft refuses!! We are professionals who work multiple files every single day and some of us are working project files with 50 thousand task lines and more!!! Give us a break!!

To achieve this you just need to reduce the project window from full screen view to a resizable window and then drag it to fill the two screens. When you have both files open you can use the Arrange All button in the View Tab to have them side by side one on the left screen and one on the right. - Resize them as necessary to make them fit perfectly. I do this all the time and it works perfectly.

i was in a tutorial hell so i thought i should finally give The Odin Project a try and it is awesome. but i don't want to use another OS. it's because, i can't.. my laptop is in a very poor state. it even gets stuck while using the right button to open up options for a file. so, i can't use VM or Dual-boot. my laptop can barely run windows properly. so, i would like to hear what you guys think..

The Windows App SDK provides extensions for Visual Studio 2022 and Visual Studio 2019. Those extensions include project templates configured to use the Windows App SDK components in new projects. The Windows App SDK libraries are also available via a NuGet package that you can install in existing projects.

To learn about configuring Visual Studio for creating new Windows App SDK projects, see Install tools for the Windows App SDK; in particular the section that lists the Required workloads and components for Visual Studio.

We are building the Windows App SDK as an open source project. We have a lot more information on our Github page about how we're building the Windows App SDK, and how you can be a part of the development process. Check out our contributor guide to ask questions, start discussions, or make feature proposals. We want to make sure that the Windows App SDK brings the biggest benefits to developers like you.

If you mean two preview and timeline windows at the same time, you can if you have all projects imported in a master project. Open one comp, lock the preview window and double click on the second comp to open a separate preview window. You can then drag and position the preview window and the timeline panel for the second comp to a second monitor or position them (one by one) side by side or top -bottom with the initial comp.

Experiencing the same problem. SetProject does open the 'set project' window but that works OK anyway... Is there a command line for the 'Project Window' menu function ?

I am running PhotoshopCC 2017 and creating a project. Then I may check Mail, go to Numbers and enter some info. Perhaps go to Safari or the scanner or just some other application. I usually Option Click the desktop to hide Photoshop. Then I go back to Photoshop by clicking on the icon in my dashboard. Photoshop shows that it is still running but my project window is gone (hidden?). Nothing I do can bring it back. I check Spaces. No project window... How the heck do I bring it back without having to quit Photoshop? I tried "show all windows" and I get, "No Available Windows".

On windows its alt + space, then "m" , you can click immediately to select the top bar and MOVE the mouse around with the left button clicked and try to bring the window in yoru view. OR instead you can use ARROW keys to move it around hopefully back to the main window.

Currently when I open the project, it says there are 247 missing audio data block files and gives me log #1 (attached). Naturally if I say to ignore and close, it closes. If I choose to treat it as silence for this session only, it brings another error saying there are 753 orphan block files and gives me log #2 (attached).

Earlier I was working on a program that I hoped to be helpful in some 2.x cases. Unfortunately that project is on indefinite hold and is unlikely to be revived anytime during the next several quarters, as I currently have other projects keeping me busy.

Never update in the middle of a project. Get accustomed to the new one before you start a new show. Audacity 3.0.5 has a one-file Project structure. MyMusic.aup3. No more .aup files and _data folders with a million files in it.

I do not have and do not want Dropbox. I back up everything to an external SSD which is highly portable and light weight. Do I have to copy the material to the SSD? Or can I just open the other project folder on my laptop and save copied material there?

OK, I think I figured it out. I found the appropriate section in the manual, and I did drag and drop by going to the Scrivener icon in the bottom toolbar of the laptop and finding the screen for the other project, then dropping the folder from the TOC into the binder for the ms.

NVivo on Windows and Mac are separate software applications with different project file formats (file extensions: .nvp for Windows and .nvpx for Mac). You can convert projects between the platforms however there are limitations such that, while you can successfully convert a project on a once-off basis it is not recommended you convert between the formats on an ongoing basis.

You do not need to convert an NVivo Mac project to an NVivo Windows file format. Simply open an NVivo Mac project (.nvpx) directly in NVivo Windows (the project must have the same major version number as NVivo Windows). The project is converted automatically into the Windows format (.nvp). As an alternative, consider importing the content from an NVivo Mac project into an NVivo Windows project Merge/import projects.

SDK project windows cause MSFS to stop responding and CTD if they go off the edge of the window (both in full screen & window mode). MSFS suddenly today snapped all my project windows to the edges, now opening any project causes immediate CTD. Any short cuts or good ideas to reset them back onto the screen or am I looking at a full re-install?

Thanks

So telling you that you just need to start Docker Desktop and start to develop is not really helpful. It requires much more preparation and learning. If the project you want to start had a good documentation or a sample configuration that you can just start, you could at least try the current version.

I agree with you that the explanation I have been given of the project is completely unhelpful. I am extremely unhappy with how this former employ has handed off the project and the lack of documentation I have. I still do not even have access to the entirety of the project as we have other parts that interface with different servers that I still need to get.

I myself had to realise recently that I was not enough for a specific solution in a project and it would have been irresponsible to stick with that when I took over the project so I chose another way that can be done easier by a single person.

Had this issue on Sierra on a Thunderbolt 3 MacBook Pro with older Apple Display. What started it seemed to the user in our studio having to stop using the external monitor that was causing hardware issues. After that, all the windows in InDesign CC 2017 were invisible even after quit and restart.

What fixed it was: In Mission Control, turn off 'Displays have separate spaces' and turn off 'auto switching of spaces for open windows by the application' (the second option from top). I suspect just the latter option might fix it by itself. I suspect the second space was invisible and the InDesign windows were in it. Hope this helps.

To associate the tool window with a different tool window bar, select this command, and then select the destination tool window bar (Top, Left, Bottom or Right). For full information, refer to the Move tool windows chapter.

Create a new item (module, package, directory, file, class, and so on.) within the selected one. (project, module, directory or package) In the Scratches view, this command also lets you create a query console.

Change the type of the selected file, for example, to Plain Text to exclude it from project, so it is ignored by inspections, code completion, navigation, and so on. The file will be indicated with a special icon and shown as plain text in the editor. For more information, refer to Exclude files.

open both projects you're currently working in adobe illustrator, and drag out the tap, readjust them and press Ctrl+0 to set the tap content to the center and then you can start to edit your project freely side by side.

Before creating your first Laravel project, make sure that your local machine has PHP and Composer installed. If you are developing on macOS or Windows, PHP and Composer can be installed in minutes via Laravel Herd. In addition, we recommend installing Node and NPM. 0852c4b9a8
