3) How many years did the Syrian war last?  Who did the protesters protest against? What type of war has the seven year become?

4) Where is Syria located? What are the surrounding countries of Syria?

5) Who are the Syrian people protesting against?  And Why? 

6) Why are people fighting in Syria?

7) Who is involved in the war in Syria?  Name the specific people. 

8) Why is the refugee crisis all over the news? How is this related to Syria? Why should we care at all?  

9) Syrians who risked their lives coming to Europe have ended up living in limbo.  Why? and How?

10) What are some similarities between the character Ha feelings of being an immigrant in the novel Inside Out and Back Again by Thanhha Lai, and some of the immigrant children in your research?
