Delivering theoretical knowledge, embedding structured content, adapting skills development to better suit local rural children.
In many rural communities across Vietnam, education is still dominated by rigid, exam-driven teaching methods that prioritize memorization over understanding.
Under pressure to achieve high grades, parents often rely on additional tuition—placing further strain on teachers who are already underpaid and overworked. In some cases, this has led to a system where results are emphasized at any cost, and high scores are pursued regardless of a student’s actual ability or comprehension.
This culture reinforces quantity over quality. Students move from school to extra classes, and even into summer break, with little time to rest or engage in meaningful, self-directed learning.
The result is a continuous cycle of passive learning—one that limits creativity, weakens critical thinking, and overlooks the emotional and social development essential for young people to truly thrive.
