Hello there, my name is Jordan Massey!
I am a dedicated and passionate school counselor with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in both counseling and teaching. I hold a Master of Science in Professional School Counseling and a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Angelo State University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Baylor University. My journey in education has led me to various roles where I've made significant contributions to student development and academic success.
Currently, I serve as a School Counselor and Testing Coordinator at Stafford MSD in Stafford, Texas. Here, I develop and implement comprehensive counseling programs, provide individualized support to students, and ensure compliance with state and district policies. My role allows me to collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to create a nurturing and effective learning environment.
Prior to this, I taught 5th-grade Science and Social Studies, and 7th-grade ELAR, where I developed engaging lesson plans, mentored aspiring educators, and coached academic teams to success. My dedication to fostering a positive school culture and my ability to connect with students on a personal level have been the cornerstones of my career.
With certifications in English as a Second Language, Core Subjects with STR EC-6, and Professional School Counseling, I bring a well-rounded skill set to my work. My expertise in data analysis, classroom management, and collaborative teamwork ensures that I can meet the diverse needs of the student community.
I'm committed to promoting academic and emotional well-being and excited to continue making a positive impact in the field of education.
