Hello, my name is Joleen Begay. I grew up in Castle Dale, Utah. During my college and adult years and I did a lot of moving around I have lived, in Hawaii, California, Tennessee and Arizona but I am happy to be back in Good'Ole Utah. It is nice to be back HOME, and teach children here in the area. While sharing with everyone what I have learned in my travels.
Facts About Me:
- I am a mother of two little girls that keep me busy.
-Camping is my Zen. I love the outdoors
- I have learned to dance Hawaiian, Samoan, Tahitian, Pow Wow and Navajo cultural dances
- I speak a little Navajo but I understand most of it
- My children are in the this school district, so I am invested in the education in the area.

My college career was spent at BYU and UVU.
I graduated from UVU in Elementary Education in 2017. While at BYU I was active in many groups including, Psych club, Native American Club, Film Club.
At UVU I was involved in the Psych Club, Native Sun Club, and Non-Traditional Student Club.
I also dabble in Photography and Bookbinding.
Both School have been beneficial for me and has made me a well rounded teacher.
