Smooth curves and contoured rubber grips provide long, comfortable play sessions. Standard Android TV controls - provided through the Logitech Logo button on the gamepad together with the Back key on the controller - allow you to navigate your Android TV seamlessly.

To reconnect your wireless controller to your PS5 console, connect it to the console with a compatible USB cable and press the PS button on the wireless controller. You can then remove the USB and use the controller wirelessly.

The Xbox One controller maintains the overall layout found in the Xbox 360 controller's design, but with enhancements such as redesigned grips, a smoother build, and the removal of the protruding battery compartment. The controller also contains light emitters that allow it to be tracked and paired using Kinect sensor, and to detect when it is not being held to automatically enter a low-power state. The controller contains a micro USB port, enabling wired use of the controller with the console or on computers running Windows 7 or later with drivers, and firmware updates.[2][3][4][5] For communication, the controller uses a new proprietary protocol with a greater bandwidth than the wireless protocol used by the Xbox 360 controller, reducing latency and allowing for higher quality headset audio.[3][4] Up to eight controllers can be connected wirelessly to the console at the same time; if controllers also are supporting wireless chat audio via the Chat Headset, four controllers can be connected simultaneously, and if the controllers are providing wireless chat and stereo in-game audio via the Stereo Headset, two controllers can be connected simultaneously.[6]

On Windows 10, support for the controller is built-in, including support for wireless audio when using the wireless dongle or USB cable (it is not supported over Bluetooth). The controller is also manageable via the Xbox Accessories app, whose features include button remapping (for both the regular and Elite controller), input tests, and firmware update. On Windows 7 or 8.1, drivers are required, and the aforementioned features are not available.[69]

The Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows (Model 1713) is a USB-A dongle with a single button that allows computers using the Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating system to connect with Xbox controllers, headsets, and similar accessories via the proprietary Xbox Wireless protocol rather than Bluetooth.[83] It was announced in June 2015[30] and began shipping in October of that year.[84] Support for Windows 7 and 8.1 was added through new drivers in December 2015.[67][85] It is equipped with a single white LED to indicate pairing and wireless connection status.[86]

You need to get USB working, and then modprobe your gamepad driver, which is usbhid, as well as joydev. If you use a usb mouse or keyboard, usbhid will be loaded already and you just have to load the joydev module.

While most gamepads, especially USB based ones should just work, some may require (or give better results) if you use alternative drivers. If it does not work the first time, do not give up, and read the following sections thoroughly!

xone is a Linux kernel driver for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S accessories. It serves as a modern replacement for xpad, supersedes xow. Currently working via wired or with the wireless dongle. This driver is still in active development.

Now that your gamepad is in Switch mode, you'll run into a problem of SDL2 deciding to become a user-space driver (for this it uses libusb, just like xboxdrvAUR), which causes any SDL2 game to claim the whole gamepad (that is: /dev/input/* and /dev/hidraw* disappear, yet it's still possible to play this launched game with the gamepad), so you can't use the gamepad in multiple apps anymore.

Some software, Steam for example, will only recognize the first gamepad it encounters. Due to a bug in the driver for Microsoft wireless periphery devices this can in fact be the bluetooth dongle. If you find you have a /dev/input/js* and /dev/input/event* belonging to you keyboard's bluetooth transceiver you can get automatically get rid of it by creating according udev rules:

Model MPCW-7 is the latest and greatest wired/wireless console controller on the market. Includes sport specific overlays. Full functionality without the wires. Ideal for larger facilities. Includes all the features of the MPC, plus can be used for wireless and wired operation and has an operating range of 1,000+ feet. One control can operate up to 40 different scoreboards.

The wireless Receiver for my Xbox 360 controller (Sometimes referred to as a wireless dongle) from China is one of those tools that has become more and more relevant in the gaming industry with console ports and couch co-ops. Unlike other types of electronics from China; Where it was inferior or simply nothing more than a piece of plastic or an identifier chip saying what it was but it did nothing at all. This adapter from China does work! But it needs the right drivers!

The first thing that you'll notice upon using the new wireless receiver driver is all of your Xbox 360 controllers are listed as generic HID-compliant game controllers. They are not listed as true Microsoft Xbox 360 controllers anymore. In about 80 to 90 percent of the games on the market, this will not affect a thing! There are however some games that are built around the Xbox 360 controller and will map all of the keys for you if it so happens to find a true controller that came from Microsoft. This bug in the new driver is an annoyance and not a deal-breaker.

The second bug deals with the functionality of the center Xbox button. Using the old driver when you download and install the software. Let it install Net 3.5. Normally it places a file known as XboxStat.exe as a startup program for Windows which will listen through the Chinese wireless receiver for any command from that button to give the user information such as what controller is connected, battery life, and more. This is a nice feature but once again it's not a deal-breaker. The lights will flash on your controller when the battery is getting low. If you don't care about this and you want to save about 3 MB of memory by not installing the older driver. Then the new driver should suit you just fine.

Besides the driver headaches explained above. And now the aforementioned 2004 build. It behaves just like the Microsoft OEM version. The receiver works across our house which is identical to my Xbox 360 console wireless length. So no real complaints about connectivity or lag issues. For $8(USD) it's not a bad deal.

The great thing about having the wireless receiver is they give you a few feet of cable so you can place the wireless receiver anywhere giving you a possible better reception around the house than keeping it inside of the Xbox 360 console. We hope you find this article useful and hopefully, it will keep a few Xbox 360 controllers in circulation. If you have any problems you may leave it in the comments below. Please include the OS and hardware ID of the controller you are using.

Sony has used Bluetooth in its controllers for years, which makes it easy if you want to play Android games with a PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 gamepad. The instructions are the same for both consoles since they both use Bluetooth.

Easily connect the controller to your PC/laptop with the included USB micro receiver, or use Bluetooth to connect with your Nintendo Switch. The built-in motion controls pick up the movement you make with the gamepad while playing on Switch, making full use of your wireless freedom. It also features vibration feedback, pulling you further into the game.

The Sony DualSense wireless controller charges via a standard USB Type-C input (cable not included). It requires a USB Battery Charging 1.2-compatible wall charger to charge, or standard USB 2.0 or 3.0 compatible port found on a PS5 console, Mac, or PC computer.

A PS4 or PS5 console with a wired connection via a LAN cable is recommended. Version 4.0 of the Remote Play App on iOS and iPadOS or version 4.1 on macOS is required for games to be playable with the controller over Bluetooth DualSense wireless controller design and specifications are subject to change without notice.

Some others suggest it is related to the antenna. But my console has never fallen, and if it was the antenna, I guess turn it off several wireless devices around, and approaching the Wireless controller to the console should allow the controller to detect the console. But it does not.

I'm having this annoyance constantly in the middle of an online game, and I need to restart the PS4 mannually every time in order to have WIFI and BT wireless connections restored. THERE IS NO WAY to connect them again, until I do this HARD RESET to the PS4 console.

So the remaining thing was sending it back to Sony or simply buying a new console since looks it is hardware related (wireless module). I saw some videos in youtube explaining how to dump the firmware in the chip to fix corrupted firmware in the wireless program, but requires hardware tools, and electronic soldering. Again, not my field. e24fc04721
