My name is Nikeely Clegg and I am settler living on the unceded territories of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Peoples. I grew up in the Kootneys in a small town called Kaslo (Ktunaxa, Sinixt, and Syilx Nations) and now live in North Vancouver.
I have an undergrad in biology from the University of Victoria where I focused mainly on marine biology. I love everything to do with the ocean and my favourite area of study is deep sea ecosystems! I am currently a teacher candidate pursuing my education degree at UBC.
When I am not teaching I enjoy hiking, skiing, mountain biking, running, canoeing, kayaking, surfing, or doing just about any outdoor activity. My indoor interests include reading, baking, and drawing!
