Hello, my name is Christina Barrera.  This is my 26th year as an educator.  I am a Life Skills Transition Teacher, the Varsity Cheer Head Coach, and an NHS co-sponsor.  I have a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science.  I am certified as a Special Education teacher along with being licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant.  

As a Life Skills Teacher, I have a passion for helping my students learn and grow.  My goal is to give them the skills needed to be independent and obtain employment one day.

As a Cheer Coach I strive to help them become stronger and perform to their maximum ability.  A personal goal for them is to have them be competitive and the best they've ever been.
