WortKlang DaF
WortKlang DaF stores all data locally on your device (UserDefaults, Core Data). No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking SDKs.
Microphone and speech recognition are used only for the optional Pronunciation Training and Speaking Trainer features; recordings are processed strictly on-device using Apple's on-device Speech Recognition and are never transmitted to any server.
Optional AI feedback is off by default. If you turn it on and add your own API key, the text you wrote — or, for speaking exercises, the on-device speech transcript (never the audio) — is sent directly from your device to the AI provider you choose and consent to (Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or OpenRouter). This only happens after you enable the feature, store a key, and confirm a per-provider consent prompt. WortKlang DaF runs no server of its own and never receives this data; once sent, it is governed by that provider's privacy policy.
Game Center is used optionally for the weekly challenge leaderboard; that data is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Aside from the optional AI feedback feature, no data is shared with third parties.
ScriboScope DaF
ScriboScope DaF verarbeitet Bilder und PDF-Dateien ausschließlich lokal auf dem Gerät der Lehrkraft mithilfe von Apple Vision; Bild- und PDF-Daten werden weder übertragen noch gespeichert. Im Modus „Text eingeben“ wird gar keine Datei verarbeitet. An die Google Gemini API wird lediglich der extrahierte bzw. eingegebene Text der Lernenden übermittelt – keine Bilddaten, keine Originaldateien. Die Entscheidung, welche Texte und Namen eingegeben werden, liegt ausschließlich bei der Nutzerin bzw. dem Nutzer. Google Gemini verarbeitet diese Daten gemäß den Datenschutzrichtlinien von Google (policies.google.com). Der Gemini API-Key wird ausschließlich in der macOS-Schlüsselbundverwaltung gespeichert und nicht an Dritte weitergegeben. Die App erfasst keine personenbezogenen Daten über die Lehrkraft selbst und erfordert keine Registrierung.
PhonoScope DaF
PhonoScope DaF verarbeitet Audioaufnahmen ausschließlich lokal auf dem Gerät der Lehrkraft mithilfe von WhisperKit; Audiodaten werden weder übertragen noch gespeichert. An die Google Gemini API wird lediglich der transkribierte Text, der eingegebene Zieltext sowie der von der Lehrkraft eingetragene Name des/der Lernenden übermittelt – keine Audiodaten, keine biometrischen Daten. Die Entscheidung, welche Namen und Texte eingegeben werden, liegt ausschließlich bei der Lehrkraft. Google verarbeitet diese Daten gemäß den Datenschutzrichtlinien von Google (policies.google.com). Der Gemini API-Key wird ausschließlich in der macOS-Schlüsselbundverwaltung gespeichert und nicht an Dritte weitergegeben. Die App erfasst keine personenbezogenen Daten über die Lehrkraft selbst und erfordert keine Registrierung.
