Here you will find a space for extra, fun, videos that I will produce and archive. These might be daily stretching/warm-up activities or fun workouts to try when you're looking for a new challenge, or something active to do. These are all extra, beyond the class, activities so feel free to use and follow along with whichever you like! Goooo Timberwolves!
Now that the weather has been getting nicer, it might be time to start considering paddle sports as a great form of exercise and adventure for the whole family! Maybe you're lucky enough to have access to a stand-up paddle board, inflatable dinghy, canoe, or kayak! Always remember to respect the ocean, lake, or pond you are adventuring in, and ALWAYS wear a certified PFD.
Feel free to click the added "modifications" attachment above to find out how to make any of these exercises more achievable.
This week’s video is all about putting the “core” back in “Core Competencies”! I wanted to provide families with a video and exercise routine that could benefit the whole family, as I know everyone is stuck at home these days. Releasing those endorphins we gain from exercise is even more important for us right now, while we’re cooped up in the house, with many of us needing a mental break from the mundanity. Whether you’re young or old, student or parent, feel free to join with me in this ab blasting core circuit.
This circuit is a combination of 10 exercises, performed for 40 secs each, resting for 20 secs between. Depending on your current fitness level, you may want to start with or without weights, and complete 1, 2, or 3 rotations. This will allow you lots of room for modifications to build up your routine from easy/achievable to more of a challenge.
Don't have a home gym to workout in? Missing all those weights and equipment? Join Mr. Z and Winston in exploring the backyard to train like Rocky Balboa, with whatever you might have handy! Today's video is brought to you just for fun. Do not attempt any of these workouts without the permission or supervision of an adult.
Check out my new video for some ideas on daily stretches, warm-ups, and cool-downs! These are great to incorporate before engaging in activities, or even as a great start to your day!
