Ongoing assessment is necessary to: inform teaching, plan appropriate educational activities, as well to monitor, evaluate and support student needs and success. 

A wide variety of assessment tools will be used. They can be in the forum of: rubrics, checklists, teacher observations, interviews, work samples, self and peer assessment, presentations, projects, tests, and others.
