Daily Schedule

Parents/Guardians,

Obviously, this year's schedule will be far different than any other! Please read carefully through all the information below to learn about our unique schedule this year.

Split Schedule Merge

On March 15, our class will abandon the AM/PM split schedule and merge into an all-day schedule! Students will still have some independent time throughout the day to complete Weekly Planner work (usually when not meeting with me for reading group work).

Fridays will be a self-paced instruction day. We will still have our morning meeting and afternoon check in, but students will pretty much have the day to complete work at their own pace. There will be new work left in the Weekly Planner on Fridays, but students can also use Fridays to catch up on any work that was not completed during the week. There will also be some fun activities like virtual field trips on Fridays, too!

Although Fridays are self-paced for the most part, there will be a bit of a schedule that has students meeting with me at times throughout the day for anywhere from 15-30 minutes to target math, reading, phonics, or writing skills. We will go over this schedule together each Friday at our morning meeting time.

Office Hours (2:15-3:00)

I will have "office hours" every school day from 2:15-3:00. This can be used as a time where students can receive extra help, and parents/guardians can schedule time to ask questions about what we are doing in class. If you are ever interested in utilizing this time, make sure to schedule with me on ClassDojo.
