What happens at MRWAC?

At the beginning of the week, mentors will present a research problem and relevant background. Participants will work together on exercises to get a feel for the problems and the type of mathematics involved. 

Halfway through the workshop, participants will be assigned to working groups based on their interests. The rest of the workshop will be dedicated to working on the problem, and hopefully working groups will continue beyond the dates of the workshop.

We will have social events to build community between participants, as well as bonus talks by graduate students and postdocs to showcase their research.
